IT Incident Manager
My well-known financial institution is looking for an IT Incident Manager who will be responsible for managing the life cycle of incidents ensuring effectiveness and efficiency, monitors incident resolution and incident escalation.
Key skills:
- Technical Analysis skills
- Solution-oriented and pragmatic working methods
- Comfortable with both Windows and Linux
- Familiar with Client Server architecture
- Familiar with SSL and browser based cryptography
- Familiar with MS Office applications
Advantages:
- Experience in networking and wide area connectivity desirable
- ITIL Foundation certification
- University degree or similar qualification
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide best in class technical support to the customers through the timely resolution of incidents
- Ensure ticket documentation is complete, legible and accurate
- Communicate ad-hoc workarounds and solutions for reported incidents
- Request information from other support groups and the customer
- Perform escalation activities
- Be available for other colleagues telephonically
- Communicate directly with the customer
