Title: IT Business Analyst – Digital Onboarding (Banking) – English & Italian
Description:
We are looking for IT Business Analysts to join an analyst team delivering a digital onboarding and account opening programme for a major European banking group.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse and document functional requirements; translate business needs into user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Work with development teams on integrations with bank systems and third?party services; contribute to functional documentation of new/modified APIs.
- Trace identification and security requirements to applicable compliance deadlines (AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, PEP, etc.).
- Support functional testing and coordinate UAT, including tests of alternative configuration settings.
- Monitor progress in your area, raise issues early and contribute to resolution.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years as an IT Business Analyst in digital transformation projects in Financial Services (traditional banks, digital banks or fintech).
- Knowledge of digital onboarding and account opening journeys for retail and/or business customers and related compliance (AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, PEP).
- Exposure to banking back?office and operations processes: task workflows, dashboards.
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Process modelling tools and methods (BPMN, UML).
- Project?management and ticketing tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Working experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Integration and data literacy (APIs, data flows between front?end journeys and core systems).
- Fluent English and Italian.
- Effective communication, credible with business, compliance and IT stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in cross?functional teams.
- Basic cloud and microservices architecture knowledge.
Rate: 150€/day
