IoT Commercial Enablement & Development Manager

The candidate will be responsible for shaping and driving the commercial development for the company’s market leading IoT (Internet of Things) Business Unit and provide commercial leadership in major projects linked to
IoT proposition development – defining and aligning commercial objectives, undertaking commercial assessments / business reviews, developing the rationale for business cases
IoT commercial models & pricing - creating proposals that not only protect our interests but champion value creation and innovation in support of our overall business strategy
IoT market & competitive positioning – identifying commercial risks / opportunities and also building strategies to mitigate or capitalise on those situations as required.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, strategic in approach and inquisitive in nature, Also have the personal leadership capabilties and presence to challenge the status quo, be able to influence key stakeholders at various levels across the organisation and to effectively steer complex cross functinal projects.

Role purpose:

Take ownership and lead the development of the commercial strategy for high priority IoT topics and initiatives ensuring that key commercial objectives are being achieved
Be responsible for developing key commercial elements of the strategic cross functional IoT initiatives / programmes
Develop the commercial model to mitigate threats and identify gaps with current commercial strategy vs external market developments
Manage and update the business cases with growth/revenue/margin assumptions and create the demand forecast for new propositions
Take ownership and lead the development of the future IoT pricing strategies for new and existing propositions

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Comprehensive understanding of IoT enterprise mobile technology/evolution
Excellent strategic commercial acumen and also comfortable in operating in detail at a practical level
Self-Starter with strong analytical skills, clarity of thinking and readiness of mind to anticipate / balance complex requirements
Strong communicator- able to influence, manage and work with external and internal stakeholders at various organisational levels

Must have technical / professional skills and qualifications:

Strong experience and track record in roles linked to Business development /Commercial strategy and/or Product Management
