Scope:
Support industrialisation, validation and scale-up of a high-volume medical manufacturing process focused on laser welding of PEEK polymer components.
Location: Peiting, Germany
Onsite: Hybrid possible
Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities
- Develop and validate laser welding processes for PEEK polymer components
- Analyse process risks, tolerances and manufacturing bottlenecks
- Define scalable high volume production processes
- Support industrialisation and production ramp-up activities
Requirements
- Industrial engineering experience within laser welding / photonics manufacturing required.
- Strong background in precision manufacturing or microsystems environments (micrometre range)
- Experience with process validation, root-cause analysis and high-volume production
- Familiar with Siemens PLCs, National Instruments and automated test/process systems
