GSM & UMTS & LTE RF Planning & Optimization Engineer - Düsseldorf/GER
1 x GSM & UMTS & LTE RF Planning & Optimization Engineer is needed in, on contract base in Germany (Düsseldorf) for one of our clients, a prestigious international Telecommunications company. Aibility to work in Germany and fluent English language are prerequisite for an application. Start date will be August 11th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize optimization activities for specific highways to reach the target KPI requirements for different technologies
- Monitoring KPI performance for the target highways and identify the problems of abnormal KPIs.
- Propose solutions including parameter aspects and RF aspects.
- Issue the drive test for different technologies and analyze the drive test data.
- Propose network optimization solutions based on the analysis of drive test results.
- Technical communication and clarification (eg RF parameters workshop) with customers and subcontractors.
- Training and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Mentoring junior and less experienced team members.
- Support project management team.
- Help in establishing technical processes.
Qualifications:
- More than 5 years radio network optimization experience in GSM/UMTS/LTE technologies
- Successful experience in highway/high speed railway optimization field.
- Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) Degree
- Expertise in 3GPP protocols and generic algorithms.
- Familiarity with drive tests and post processing tools for optimization (eg TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX and Rhode & Schwarz).
- Team spirit and good intercultural/interpersonal communication skills.
- Fluent in English, and preferable German speaker
