The project aims to develop a platform for streamlined model and data analysis workflows, enhancing development processes in DEV NCE. Our approach simplifies the transition of models from business experts to lab users through user-friendly web applications. NCE CloudLab facilitates faster development times and higher product quality through the "predict and confirm" paradigm. This framework integrates machine learning with ab-initio calculation workflows on the high-performance compute cluster (HPC) and provides access to lab and ab-initio data pipelines.Tasks:
•Technical Writing custom code to fix bugs in existing applications or adding features to new applications as needed
•Communicating with other members of the development team about progress, issues, or changes that need to be made
•Reviewing code written by other developers for possible bugs or security issues.
•Performing quality assurance testing on applications
•Creating new applications from scratch based on design specifications
•Analyzing data to identify trends or patterns that could indicate problems with the software or identify opportunities for improvement
•Recommending improvements to existing processes and procedures
•Consulting the designers to create user interfaces
Skills:
•At least five years of experience in the IT industry
•APIs with Python (FastAPI), DevOps and CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, Openshift, AWS, Terraform) are required skills (5+ years of experience)
•Essential RDBMS developer skills with Postgres
•Experience with Streamlit and NextFlow is not mandatory but is a plus
•Strong English communication skills required
•Analytic mindset
•Delivery mentality and understanding of / focus on end-user requirements
