Freelance Art Director - Remote - 8 monthsMy client offers advanced, stylised solutions that connect people within virtual space they are working with top global brands and businesses to develop show-stopping marketing campaigns, exhibitions, conferences, and events.
They currently are seeking a Freelance Art Director.
This project is a contract job offer, with an initial contract until the end of the year. The start date is as soon as possible
My client will pay competitive market daily rates
Requirements
- Art and Design expertise, cutting edge taste, explorer of new visual narratives.
- Tech: 3D tools such as redshift, 3D max, octane, substance, cinema 4D / Optional 3D real-time affine
- Manage Designer: experience on 3D Efficient, Mass production-ready, style frames.
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- An impressive portfolio
- Experience managing large projects with remote stakeholders
- Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills, German language skills is a nice to have
Tasks
- Defining the experience art style while respecting the initial creative direction of projects
- Planning production in collaboration with the creative producer and other relevant stakeholders
- Creating benchmarks to define the expected level of visual quality in the experience in collaboration with the lead agency (technical limitations, scales, narrative content, compositions).
- Conveying expectations in terms of quality and content (settings, environments, characters) to the Unreal team (concept artists, environment artists, character model artists) using relevant visual references
- Monitoring and approving work done by the Unreal Art team, as well as the integration of visual data into the engine.
