Financial Analyst - German Speaking
In our client's finance division, their reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions as well as USGAAP and local statutory reporting. The objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
Description of the main tasks and responsibilities:
Preparation of German Statutory Accounts
Ensure integrity of the balance sheet for dedicated accounts under US GAAP and HGB
P&L analysis
Month end close activities
Support of German tax audit
Description of the skills and experience required for this role:
Qualified statutory accountant (CPA or equivalent) under German Commercial Code (HGB) and US GAAP
Several years of experience as financial analyst in charge of the preparation of German Statutory Accounts ideally for US based companies or as financial auditor for a German audit company
Sound knowledge of German taxation laws
Excellent business application skills (SAP, BW, DATEV, Addison, MS Excel, MS Access)
Language skills:
German and English fluently both in spoken and written language
