Volume: 2,200 hours remote / 40 hours onsite
Location: Remote / Hannover
1. Role Profile & Objective
We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant / Solution Architect to support an ongoing UK project at short notice.
The role focuses on assessing the existing enterprise IT landscape, applications, technical dependencies, integrations, interfaces and data flows. The consultant will identify technical complexity, risks and optimization opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations for solution evaluation and IT transformation.
The objective is to establish a fact-based technical overview of the current IT environment and provide sound technical input for cost assessments and the transformation roadmap.
2. Key Responsibilities
IT Landscape & Application Assessment
Analyze the existing IT landscape and relevant applications.
Assess and document technical dependencies.
Identify technical risks, complexity and optimization opportunities.
Integration, Interfaces & Data Flows
Evaluate system integrations and interfaces.
Analyze data flows and related dependencies.
Identify technical implications for potential solution options.
Solution Evaluation & Transformation
Prepare structured technical analyses and solution evaluations.
Translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Provide technical input for cost assessments and the transformation roadmap.
3. Expected Deliverables
IT Landscape Assessment: Structured overview of the existing IT landscape, applications and dependencies.
Integration & Data-Flow Assessment: Documentation of relevant integrations, interfaces and data flows.
Technical Risk & Optimization Analysis: Identification of complexity, risks, dependencies and optimization opportunities.
Solution Evaluation: Assessment of relevant solution options and actionable recommendations.
Transformation Input: Technical contributions to cost assessments and the transformation roadmap.
4. Requirements Profile
Strong technical understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, architecture, dependencies and technical risks.
Experience in application assessments, IT modernization and solution architecture.
Practical experience with system integrations, interfaces and data flows.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Databricks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations.
EIS business experience desirable.
Experience with OT environments is an advantage.
5. Scope & Role Boundaries
This is a technical assessment and solution-architecture assignment, not a general PMO role. Responsibilities include analysis, evaluation and recommendations, as well as technical input for cost assessments and the transformation roadmap. Commercial ownership, final transformation decisions and implementation responsibility are outside the defined scope.
6. Application Requirements
Availability and earliest possible start date.
Relevant experience in enterprise IT landscape and application assessments.
Examples of comparable IT modernization, integration, interface and data-flow assessments.
Relevant solution-architecture experience.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Databricks, OT environments and/or EIS business, where applicable.
