DevOps Engineer - GitHub - OpenShift - Scripting - Azure - This is a long term contract opportunity for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Supporting the team in managing the DevOps platforms and tools
- Creating standards for DevSecOps improvements
- Liaising with the diverse development teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Documenting every aspect of a DevSecOps lifecycle
- Collaborating with teams to facilitate migration to cloud-ready platforms
- Experimenting with new technologies and staying tuned with industry developments
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience specializing as a DevOps Engineer with in-depth knowledge of best practices, branching strategies, GIT knowledge, and building and maintaining workflows
- Solid scripting experience in TypeScript, PowerShell, or Bash, as well as strong background in GitHub
- Azure cloud experince is highly desirable
- A thorough understanding of agile methodologies, along with excellent documentation capabilities
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, or Docker would be an advantage
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken

- Customer focused, with good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and in a timely fashion
