Job Description:
• Design focal for Product Engineering WPs (A350 and SA)
• Close interaction and collaboration with the Customer and offshore team
• Cascade all the technical and project requirements to the team.
• Work closely with the offshore team to realise the overall scope.
• Perform complex and specific support at onsite.
• Manage and deliver small/complex projects through onsite team.
Experience & Qualification:
• Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering Degree or Equivalent with 5 to 10 years of experience
Skill required to succeed in this job:
• Experience of leading teams working on airframe design
• Experience in coordinating with customers for all the technical requirements.
• Actively participate in the TRMs and PRMs
• Actively participating in the Continuous Improvements and Digital Initiatives
• Experienced in various AIRBUS Design projects, including but not limited to Machined part design, sheet metal parts, Composite parts, and assemblies.
• Experienced in Conceptual design, detail design and manufacturing support.
• Experienced in composite or metallic design (SA and preferably A350 program)
• Must understand the complete product development lifecycle, capture requirements, and provide technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Aircraft Fuselage Primary & Secondary Structures, ESI and MSI
• Experience in Aerospace Material Selection, Manufacturing processes and Finish.
• Experience in Engineering design tools, specifically CATIA-V5 (Part, Surface, ASL, FTA & CPD)
• Experience on use of PDM/PLM tools such as VPM & PASS (preferably having) NG user ID
