Our client is urgently seeking a Design Engineer for mobile Embedded hardware design for a 12-month contract based in Nuremberg, Germany (we can also consider candidates on a permanent basis).
To be successful you will have a background in a combination of the following:
* Digital and analogue hardware design of Embedded systems
* Digital and/or analog HW design experience
* Typical measurement equipment and methods (eg Logic Analyzer, Lauterbach Debugger, High Speed Scopes)
* Design tools, such as Mentor Schematic Entry and layout, simulations
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Design of analogue and digital circuits for mobile modem platforms (LTE and WCDMA) on PCB level
* Schematic entry, floor-planning and layout supervision of designs
* Debugging of boards
* Design, qualification, verification and documentation of mobile modem platforms
* Integration of mobile modem platform into smartphones
