Datastage and Teradata specialist
Datastage and Teradata specialist is urgently required for a long-term contract positon with a majur blue chip client in a great location.
Job Description-
1. Data Warehouse(Datastage) development, experience in developing DataStage jobs
2. Experience in DW/BI technologies & experience in ETL DataStage tool.
3. Will Use ETL Tool, to create jobs for extracting the data from different databases, flat files & Mainframe files.
4. Will lead overall ETL process and architecture, perform build, testing and deploy activities related to BI and data warehouse implementations
5. Worked extensively in parallel jobs, sequences and preferably in routines. Good conceptual knowledge on data-warehouse and various methodologies
6. Strong knowledge and experience in SQL programming, DB procedures, tuning and optimization experience
7. Should have Data Modeling experience
8. Good knowledge on Teradata Architecture, data ware housing concept and relational data bases.
9. Should have very good knowledge & hands-on experience of Teradata database
10. Will be mapping financial product data from Legacy systems to client custom data model
Background and skills-
1. Good working knowledge on Financial data-warehouse and various methodologies
2. Strong knowledge and experience in ETL development
3. Able to work effectively with remote locations including onsite/offshore stakeholders/teams
should have hands-on working knowledge of following DWH environment-
1. Database- Teradata (SQL/Views/Database Modeling)
2. ETL Tool- Datastage
