Looking for a Data Scientist to continue implementation focused by extending existing analytical algorithms using R and SQL.
Focus topics are:
- personalization techniques,
- recommender engine (food/non-food),
- segmentation of customers,
- campaign data analysis,
- campaign test design.
You will require a practical, hands-on understanding of data modelling to give detailed expert advice for the implementation.
Core Responsibilities
- Implement new algorithmic (Teradata warehouse, Teradata Aster, R) as well as extend the existing analytical products by working on backlog items.
- Bring-in and share your deep rooted expertise and experiences, while working on existing analytical tasks, proposal of new model developments and improvements.
- Good knowledge in the field of Retail Marketing Analytics regarding state-of-the-art modelling approaches, tools and programming languages.
- In particular, project experience in modelling approaches for personalization of customer touch-points and communications in Food Retail/Wholesale (customer segmentations, customer profiling, recommender engines) to enable Targeted Marketing.
- Proven experience and professional background of about 4 years in working for a dedicated Retail/Wholesale Data Science unit.
- Proven knowledge and fluent in SQL (ideally Teradata data warehouse), Data Mining modelling techniques by using deeply the statistical programming language R. A plus would be familiarity with Teradata Aster (Big Data Appliance).
- Project management skills as well as exceptional analytical skills.
- Automating and standardizing models for use with other clients (internal or external)
