My client, a Major Financial Services Business are currently seeking a Cloud Data Engineer with experience in GCP, Airflow, dbt, and Spark for a 6 month project focusing on the development of a brand new service. You would be working in a highly capable product team with a large degree of autonomy.This role is 100% Remote. Market rates apply.
Required key competencies and qualifications:
Skills and experience:
Experience with Data Warehouse design, build, and implementation within GCP.
Experience designing technical solutions using a deep understanding of leveraging GCP services and wider industry standard tools.
Experience designing and applying advanced access controls with BigQuery.
Experience using and building CI/CD flows using GitHub actions and Cloud Build.
Orchestrating services and systems using Pub/Sub, AirFlow and Cloud Functions.
Proven experience of data engineering and architectural techniques, including data wrangling, data profiling, data preparation, metadata development.
Proven experience building data processing pipelines/ systems using Python, SQL, BigQuery, Spark, DataProc, AirFlow and wider GCP eco system.
