Data Advisor (m/w/d) - 12 months (+extension) - Start: ASAP - Remote & BerlinFor our client we are looking asap for a experienced Data Advisor (m/w/d) .
Scope:
? Review and Maintain the business glossary in collaboration with Data Stewards from the Business.
? Supporting the modelling of the Cannonical Data Model and the Transversal Data Model.
? Helping the business define their needs for the engineers to implement
Tasks:
? contribute to improving the Data Catalog methodology by providing feedback from the field.
? work with a Business Purpose, while breathing Data, Organization & People, Processes, and
Technology.
? bring benefits and keep an eye on more-long terms solutions to ensure sustainability on mid-terms
? advising and training (i.e. Data Owners, Data Stewards, Business and IT teams) by and on-the-job
coaching.
? review and ensure transversality of the Business Glossary that defines the common and universal
language within Elia, by formalizing the Business definitions of data and their purpose.
? manage expectations from, and intensely collaborate and align with, multi-disciplinary
stakeholders, departments, and project teams.
? generate business value
Skills:
? Min. 3 years of experience in Data Quality Management
? Min. 3 years of experience in Metadata Management
? Min. 3 years of experience in Master Data Management
? English and German (C1), knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
Technical Skills (required)
For this mission, proven experience with similar projects, missions or employments, with skills that encompass
are necessary:
? Master knowledge about and have an experience of min. 4 years with these Data Management
activities:
o Data Classification, Data Privacy, Data Security, CIA Measures
– Optional
o Business Intelligence & Analytics – Optional
o Big data – Optional
o Data Modeling – Optional
o Data Integration & API – Optional
? Rapidly understand the Business of Elia as a Transmission System Operator and its underlying
concepts. Previous experience related to the Business of “Utilities” or “Energy” and its underlying
concepts is an asset.

? Able to challenge your interlocutors by leveraging your rational thinking, and no non-sense
philosophy.
? Continuously look at data in a transversal way (no siloes), across the entire Enterprise, to prevent
non-sense solutions.
