Beschreibung
For our client we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical / Mechatronic) (m/f/d).
Start: ASAP
Duration: 31.12. with the option of extension
Workload: Fulltime (80-100 % depending on project phase)
Location: 40 % in the great area of Cologne and 60 % international travels
Language: German and English
Aufgaben:
- Perform independent commissioning of equipment (internal & on-site)
- Conduct I/O checks and safety tests according to SOPs
- Commission hydraulic, refrigeration, and vacuum systems (incl. leak testing)
- Execute SIP, CIP, defrosting, and freeze-drying processes
- Perform system tests, pin chart checks, and sensor calibration
- Carry out FAT/SAT based on IQ/OQ documentation
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams during commissioning
- Identify, document, and resolve quality issues and deviations
- Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues
- Train and instruct customers on system operation
Anforderungen:
- Degree or technical qualification as Engineer or Technician (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field)
- Solid experience in mechanical and mechatronic commissioning
- Strong knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC systems
- Experience in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Biopharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
- Experience with FAT/SAT and system qualification processes
- High willingness to travel internationally
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
- Fluent English language skills and good German language skills
