Duration: 6 months +Location: Full remote working, with rare on-site visits (Berlin or Frankfurt)
Rate: 90 € per hour / 720 € per day
Start Date: ASAP
Objective:
The Cloud Provider Developer enables new features for the Operations Center and enables them to run on target clouds.
Tasks:
• End2end plan, engineer and implement new OC features and make them work on a large number of clouds
• Conduct thorough tests for robustness, performance and compatibility
• Ensure customer continuity despite changing product
• Conduct reviews of "inner source" code contributions and provides constructive support for contributors
• Guides other teams and professional services to use and enhance existing APIs and the product
Candidate requirements:
• Cloud-native thinking, an ability to be productive across any cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, Private clouds) and on-premises systems.
• An openness to and knowledge of cloud provider processes like quotas, observability, IAM, metering, security etc.
• Writing maintainable code in Ansible, Java, Go, Typescript (must posses experience with at least 3 of these)
• Knowledge of building secure and comprehensible APIs
• Ability to quickly anticipate new technology
