Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a project focused on a Cloud Platform. You will be responsible for network engineering, including the configuration of hardware and software components, and the automation of these processes. This is a fully remote position requiring a high level of technical expertise in network fabrics, security gateways, and Linux-based routing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform network engineering tasks for a Cloud Platform environment.
- Configure Switch, Router, Firewall, and Fabric components.
- Configure Security Gateways and Linux-based routing.
- Automate network configurations using Ansible.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Network Infrastructure: 5 years of practical experience with Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
- Network Fabric: 4 years of experience in Network Fabric configuration (Cisco preferred).
- Security Gateways: 2 years of experience with security gateways (e.g., genua or Fortinet).
- Linux: 2 years of experience.
- Scripting/Automation: 2 years of experience with Ansible.
- Kubernetes: 1 year of experience.
- Routing: 1 year of experience with Linux-based routers.
Special Requirements (Mandatory)
- Security Clearance: Willingness to undergo SÜ2 security clearance.
- Nationality: Must hold German Citizenship.
