We are searching for a freelance (Senior) Consultant: Citrix Application Support Engineer (m/f).Mission:
Workplace is the domain that handles all user device specific tasks. Currently we are migrating all users to a W7 or a Virtual platform. This virtual workstation is a CITRIX based SBC or VDI solution. One of the main tasks here is to repackage all applications for the CITRIX platform. In order to be able to do this, we need to analyse every application with the functional and technical owner. It is the responsibility of Workplace Engineering to find a technical solution for all these applications.
Description:
* Analyse every application and find a ‘Virtualization’ solution.
* Follow up and testing of the packaged application.
* Close collaboration with our client regarding the technical discussions and the follow up of the priorities.
* Execution of small CITRIX projects.
Required Skills:
* 2 to 3 years of experience in CITRIX Workplace related subjects.
* Experience in application Virtualization.
* Bachelor degree with IT orientation (or equivalent).
* General knowledge of the Windows platform.
* Experience in working together with clients
* Certified CITRIX Xenapp 6.x
* Windows Server 2008
* Windows 7
* AppV knowledge.
* Software Distribution via SCCM
* Visual Basic – End User Computing in Excel and/or Access
* Experience with HP or Wyse Thin Clients
* AppSense Application Manager
* Ownership and organizational skills to resolve issues.
* Ability to deal with unhappy Client.
* Strong team player
* Good communication skills (oral and writing).
* Taking into account the multi cultural environment, a good English knowledge in speaking and writing is mandatory.
* Active knowledge of French or Dutch
This position will be searched for Brussels Belgium - asap until 31.03.2013 - extension is possible.
