For one of our clients we are looking for a Cisco Network Consultant.
Main object of the consultant within the project:
The main skill focus for the external consultant is to have a strong experience in conducting Network Assessments for Cloud Requirements. Product focus shall be Cisco, IPAM is a nice to have.
For the Network assessment and the network assets it is important for the consultant to understand the impact of the bandwidth for the consummation of cloud services. Therefore sites and personas need to evaluated in terms of the bandwidth usage during their daily business, which traffic is being used/does an express route make sense. Security aspects for O365 like Firewalls need to evaluated as well since they differ when using cloud compared to on premise.
Requirements:
- 6+ Years strong working experience in enterprise datacenter/DR and global network services
- Experience deploying and configuring Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000 Switches.
- Experience in handling EOS and EOL upgrades and life cycle management
- Working knowledge and ability to understand the architecture of Nexus 7000, Line cards (M-series/F-series).
- Knowledge of L2/L3 topology design and protocol implementation. Understanding of new protocols being deployed intra and inter Data Center(OTV,LISP,VXLAN,NV-GRE)
- Experience on WLANincluding installing/Troubleshooting over Secure Mobility, Voice Over WLAN, Location Based Services, and Wireless Guest Access, Cisco Prime NCS, Cisco/HP Controllers
