My client, a well-respected global consulting firm are looking for a Big Data consultant/admin until the end of 2019 for their financial customer in Southern Germany. Work is 2 days a week onsite, and 3 days offsite, with cope to move the on-site bi-weekly as the project progresses. My client are ideally seeking someone with an understanding of Hadoop and administration around Big data platforms who can assist with a large platform PoC.
Tasks include:
- Cloudera/Hadoop administration (Installation of the new clusters, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting),
- Automation with Ansible (Cloudera Installation, monitoring tools installation and configuration, software installation, upgrade and configuration),
- Setup and optimization of monitoring of Hadoop cluster using Zabbix, Elasticsearch and Grafana,
- Support for POCs in BigData environment.
Working model:
- EU Passport Holder
- EU Ltd (or Other) Company for payment/Umbrella company
- Remote, with travel expenses to client paid for on-site time
- Rate is €500 - €550 per day
- Starts ASAP
- Contract until
