My well regarded consultancy client have a requirement for a Big Data Architect with good knowledge of AWS cloud to work on a high profile project for a banking client based in Hanover Germany for a 6 month initial term contract. You will be working on a cutting edge Big Data, analytics and enterprise level data warehouse project.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform engineering in an Agile team
- Ensure clear architectural roadmaps, options and technical consultancy are provided
- Work on a number of AWS cloud, digital strategy, innovation and transformation projects
- Engineering solutions to cope with large volume and rapid Real Time requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- High degree of competency with working on Big Data projects - end to end, not just POC.
- Experience of enterprise level analytics solutions
- Excellent experience of designing Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions
- Creation of technical architecture roadmaps and patterns for specific Big Data related data architecture domains
- Experience of developing, interfacing or designing data centric applications
- Experience of Middleware integration applications, either commercial or Open Source
- Excellent knowledge of Big Data tools ie Hadoop, Cassandra, Mongo, Hive, Pig, Spark, Flume, Kafka
- Excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud
- Excellent working background in Agile projects
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills
Rate: €600 to €850 per day D.O.E. (all inclusive rate)
Note: German language skills aren't necessary however they are a bonus.
Within this role you will engage with C-level stakeholders to dictate the technical direction and help them navigate this new world of big data analytics in the goal of becoming one of the most leading insights driven businesses.
