Beschreibung

I am looking for a Bazel Migration Expert (CI/CD Build Toolchain) with the following skill set:
Requirements
  • The Eclipse build must be fully bazelified; That means migrating from current bash scripts to full bazel, removing non-bazel dependency wrappers (sw , inject-libs), assessing and improving the ECJ java toolchain.
  • Sandboxing is assumed to be hard or impossible.
  • However, dedicated immutable, hermetic RBE workers with a rich, versioned worker image (Xvfb,VNC,Eclipse) could serve as a sealed test environment (cached out-of-the-box)
Definition of done
A representative integration test and an Eclipse test run under bazelisk test (on RBE) producing stable, cacheable results with captured artifacts (screenshots/logs).
Required skillset
  • Docker and Kubernetes (for RBE workers)
  • General Container build pipelines
  • Bazel sh_test / py_test
  • X11 / headless GUI
  • GUI test automation
  • Familiarity with Eclipse RCP
