Cosmic-IT is hiring for an exciting onsite opportunity in Sweden!
? Location: Solna, Sweden
? Work Location: Röntgenvägen, Solna
??? Role: Band 2 Engineer (Deskside Support Engineer)
? Language Requirement: Native or C1 Proficiency
? Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Configure and deploy workstations for new hires, including imaging and data migration.
• Perform IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change & Disposal).
• Support Windows, macOS, Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), VPN, and end-user devices.
• Image, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops and laptops.
• Manage hardware inventory, loaner devices, and asset tracking.
• Install and configure printers, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Coordinate warranty returns and hardware replacements.
• Collaborate with remote support teams and document processes and configurations.
• Escalate issues when required and ensure timely resolution.
? Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Deskside Support, Field Services, or End User Support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS environments.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Experience with SCCM, TeamViewer, or similar remote support tools.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.
