Azure DWH Architect (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Ensure that the platform implementation aligns with local design standards and receives necessary approvals from the local Design Authority.
- Document to ensure smooth operations and to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Establish a compliant linkage between the Azure Data Platform and the on-premise Oracle Data Warehouse (DWH) for seamless data flow and integration.
- Collaborate with other departments to set up DevOps processes. This includes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and ensuring efficient development practices.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the platform. This involves monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Actively participate in team events and ceremonies as part of an agile team to promote flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration.
Main qualifications
- Strong experience on compliance management and security concept design
- Strong experience on Azure implementations, specifically on designing and managing cloud environments, on the Azure services, and integration with external tools such as Git, Active Directory, PowerBI, Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), etc.
- Experience on cloud-based DWH implementations with Synapse and best practice for related job scheduling and ops
- Data Vault best practice would be beneficial
- Profound English knowledge and German skills
- Customer and service-oriented behavior, resilient and reliable with good communication skills
