Für unseren Kunden suchen wir ab sofort einen Azure DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) für die voraussichtliche Dauer bis mit der Option auf Verlängerung. Das Projekt wird in Vollzeit umgesetzt und findet hauptsächlich remote statt. Gegebenenfalls kommt es einmal im Monat zum Vor-Ort-Einsatz in Frankfurt oder Luxemburg.Aufgaben:
The overall goal of the DevOps team is to migrate an existing software platform from an on-premise environment to the cloud. This platform is made up of a large number of components with a wide variety of technology stacks whose deployment and configuration is accomplished using different automatic and manual processes. Correspondingly, the nature of the work demands strong conceptual thinking and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Many tasks involve gathering information and requirements across team boundaries, so strong communication skills (at least EN, DE helpful) are necessary. Typical tasks are
- design and discussion of a solution for mapping existing products and processes to the new cloud environment,
- implementing designs using an Infrastructure as Code approach,
- developing an automation for configuration steps of various systems and products,
- extending already implemented solutions to meet high availability/ security/ compliance requirements.
Anforderungen:
- the Azure Cloud and its resources, specifically from the compute/ network category,
- Infrastructure as Code languages, specifically Azure Bicep,
- implementing deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps,
- at least one of the following
> migrating containerized micro services to a Kubernetes cluster using Helm,
> backend services written for the Windows platform and their configuration with PowerShell and Desired State Configuration
