Project description:
This project has the goal of replacing the existing intranet platform with a new employee experience solution based on the following key goals:
• Elevating the employee experience to the next level with a modern, engaging and fun system
• Greater emphasis on user interaction and bi-directional communication
• Improved targeting and personalisation
• Deep integration with MS Copilot and M365
• Leveraging further value from our Microsoft architecture
Project scope is full replacement of the company Intranet with a new platform.
Task description - The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently by the external contractor based on own knowledge and experience:
? Independent creation and specification of user interface designs, defining visual hierarchy, responsive layout grids, typography, color palettes, contrast ratios, and modular design components tailored to the Unily platform.
? Conceptual definition and technical documentation of click paths, user flows, navigation logic, and state behavior for all interactive interface elements.
? Independent design and documentation of standardized page
templates and modular layout frameworks for specified content archetypes and business use cases within Unily.
? Conceptual design and layout optimization for mobile viewports, including mobile navigation structures, content prioritization schemes, and touch-based interaction patterns.
? Development of responsive design guidelines and technical screen specifications for visual and functional alignment across desktop, tablet, and smartphone resolutions.
? Technical integration and verification of established accessibility and inclusive design standards within all developed UI components and color schemes.
? Development of comparative design variants and conception of structured A/B testing protocols to validate user engagement and layout effectiveness for key platform interactions.
? Technical plausibility review of implemented interface components against the approved UX/UI design specifications, and documentation of identified layout deviations or styling defects for remediation by Uniper.
- Deliverables: Creation of comprehensive documentation of results for all aforementioned tasks, including handover to Uniper for technical review and approval for further use.
Framework for Service Provision & Status Clarification:
- Clear appearance as an external consultant of Uniper whenever interacting with (potential) external parties.
- Uniper provides the contractor in advance with all information and documents required for the independent provision of the services. For the duration of the project, system access will be granted based on the principle of minimality, strictly limited to those systems necessary for the autonomous provision of services. This does not entail any further integration into Uniper’s operational processes or organizational structures.

Senior UX/UI Expert with hands-on Unily experience required for the implementation of Uniper's new international Employee Experience Platform. The role focuses on creating an intuitive, consistent, and visually compelling user experience across desktop and mobile. Key responsibilities include developing practical UX/UI solutions while ensuring that all proposed designs can be realistically implemented within Unily.
Additional information based on a call with the PL:
The candidate must be able to provide sound advice, as the project is starting from scratch.
A strategy must be developed collaboratively.
The project team consists of approximately 3 people and operates internationally. All meetings take place remotely.
The project is scheduled to start as soon as possible.
A pragmatic approach to implementation is important to the team. This means the candidate must be so familiar with the Unily tool that only requirements that are technically feasible are developed. The consultant must have an in-depth understanding of what is and isn’t technically feasible.
Implementation must be completed by the end of the year.
