I’ve been working as a Frontend Developer for almost 20 years using a variety of different technologies, libraries and tools.
Currently, my most frequently applied tech stack consists of ReactJS, Typescript, Javascript (ES6), SASS and HTML5.
Although a programmer at heart, I also do UX, Information Architecture and Prototyping.

After graduating in 2006, I quickly went into freelance work.

Over the last 10 years, I have been engaged almost exclusively in remote roles as part of international teams.

Projekthistorie
Building self-contained responsive web solutions for financial institutions. Creating jQuery plugins to bundle functionalities and improving workflows using Git. Dealing with tight deadlines and challenging customer feedback in a completely remote work environment.
Working mostly remote on various agile projects for three different online banking portals. Particular challenges were: Cross-browser compatibility, tablet development, high security and documentation standards and catering for different libraries (jQuery, Prototype). Proposing and prototyping new features and usability improvements. During the last year working on migrating the current frontend codebase into ReactJS.
Development of a cross-media discovery and sharing platform. The platform was a completely API-based “single page” application that supported all major browsers and tablets. Responding quickly to requirement and design changes in an Agile/SCRUM environment, the project was completed on time.
