I am a seasoned Software Engineer and Architect with over 15 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering large-scale software solutions across diverse industries including automotive, FinTech, telecommunications, and healthcare. My career spans senior engineering, architecture, and leadership roles in globally recognized organizations such as Daimler (1886Ventures) and Volkswagen Group, where I contributed to highly complex, business-critical projects.
At Daimler, I led the software technology teams at 1886Ventures, the company’s innovation incubator, where I defined technology strategies, scoped and developed MVPs, and established architecture foundations for new ventures. At Volkswagen, I was part of the group-wide software architecture team responsible for the unification of VW’s automotive cloud platforms, a large-scale initiative requiring deep architectural insight, cross-team collaboration, and close alignment with business stakeholders.
In addition to my corporate leadership experience, I co-founded Prinkipia GmbH, a Heidelberg-based company focused on providing CTO-as-a-Service and consulting in software architecture and engineering strategy for enterprises and startups.
My technical expertise is rooted in the Java/Spring ecosystem, but as a software architect I am hands-on with a wide range of programming languages, frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines). I specialize in building scalable, secure, and maintainable systems with a strong focus on domain-driven design (DDD), clean coding, and clean architecture principles.
I bring not only deep technical knowledge but also proven leadership skills—from managing cross-functional teams to mentoring engineers and fostering high-performance, quality-oriented cultures. I thrive at the intersection of technology and business, ensuring that software architecture decisions align with strategic objectives while maintaining agility and long-term maintainability.
In all my work, I am driven by a commitment to quality, scalability, and sustainable software design. Whether as an architect, team lead, or consultant, my goal is to help organizations deliver robust software solutions that generate lasting business value.
