Financial Systems & Consulting
Development of a Credit Loss Database (Basel II) for Helaba Bank and work on content management systems for financial services clients. Experience in finance and accounting systems using COBOL and DB2.
Entrepreneurship & Product Leadership
Founded and led Wikitude as CEO until 2010 and served as Member of the Board until 2021. Secured EUR 1M investment in 2010 and guided the company to acquisition by Qualcomm in 2021, with the Wikitude SDK integrated into Snapdragon Spaces.
Museum Technology
The 'Speaking Celt' was a project developed in collaboration with the Keltenmuseum Hallein (a museum focused on Celtic history) using the Wikitude SDK. During brainstorming sessions with the museum's staff, we came up with the idea of featuring an animated 3D model of a Celt inside a display case to explain its contents. Implemented this technology for several display cases, allowing visitors to launch the Celt by installing the museum app and pointing it at a circular target image within the case. This had never been done before and received highly positive feedback from both museum visitors and research institutions.
