SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA Consultant

SAP FI/CO & S/4HANA Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering Controlling, Finance, and Product Costing solutions across pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, and industrial sectors. Expertise in Material Ledger (ML), Actual Costing, Product Costing (CO-PC), CO-PA (profitability analysis), CO-OM, EC-PCA, and Finance modules (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, FI-BL). Skilled in cost component structures, overhead costing sheets, activity type planning, Make-to-Order costing, and cross-functional integration with PP, MM, SD, PM, and SAP PI/PO.

Delivered workshops, fit-gap analyses, blueprint creation and sign-off, stakeholder alignment, Agile sprint delivery, and end-to-end architecture design. Served as Controlling Lead Architect in S/4HANA programs, guiding solution design, mentoring teams, and ensuring global process harmonization.

Strong background in financial process optimization, including automation of payment processes (DME / DMEEX, BCM), workflow approvals, intercompany clearing, and digital finance workflows. Experienced in month-end closing improvements, allocations, assessments, distributions, ML-based revaluations, and profitability reporting frameworks.

Supported over 300 global users, resolving complex FI/CO issues, preparing documentation, test cases, and training material, and guiding cutover activities. Skilled in S/4HANA customization, integration troubleshooting, and designing workarounds for complex manufacturing and costing scenarios.

Additional experience with SAP BTP (process automation, extension scenarios) and SAP DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance) for e-invoicing and statutory reporting integration — enabling compliant digital finance operations across multiple regions.

Technical competencies include S/4HANA, SAP ECC, R/3, ML price determination, Actual Costing runs, internal order settlement, FI-GL workflows, financial integration, bank communication management (BCM), and payment medium mapping.
