Parallel to my role as a Senior First Officer and Safety Officer in Ryanair, I
undertook the role of Head of Air Operations at AUSEC International in 2012, a
security company recruiting mainly from military and police branches.
* Innovation: Tasked with forming the air branch and developing aviation
operations as part of the company's security service portfolio.
* Information Security: Created a risk management process to counter
any harmful escape of data and information.
* Strategic Development: Responsible for recruiting pilots and testing
several aircraft that would fit the needs of various missions.

Part of a multinational team responsible for:
* creating risk assessments
* ensuring safety compliance and
* project management and standardization
Required to conduct frequent SWOT analyses to identify Strengths and
Weaknesses, and Opportunities and Threats in operational procedures and
where we could make financial gains by making slight alterations to operations.
My findings had to be presented monthly in the HQ in London. Two of the
findings I presented resulted in:
1. Establishing a new instrument-approach procedure for the airport in
Marrakech therefore improving efficiency and boosting safety of the
airport and all airlines that fly there still until now.
2. Improved accuracy of pre-departure fuel calculations on all flights
therefore saving revenue. A practice that since has adopted by many
airlines worldwide.
