I was hired to build and establish from the ground up:
- Event Planning & Coordination: Set up all event processes from scratch, organizing offline (fairs, conferences, networking events) and digital (webinars) events, managing budget, logistics, participants, speakers, and tech setup
- Performance & ROI Analysis: Focusing on lead generation and maximizing attendance, while evaluate event outcomes and integrate findings into future planning to optimize performance and ROI
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaboration with sales, product, finance, legal, design and C-Level
I was hired to build and establish from the ground up:
- Development and execution of B2B events (onsite/hybrid/online) & webinars tailored to target audiences. E.g. younite - 1 day event with two parts. Live event with 50 customers and a hybrid event with 20 selected Talents, followed by an aftershow party at Oktoberfest
- Build and expand networks for sponsorships, suppliers, and events, implementing associated processes
- Creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and promotions
- Measurement of event & campaign success extracting valuable insights for continuous improvement
- Annual budget management for events & webinars

- Conferences in EMEA e.g.
- ESHG in Vienna – 20m² booth, 1h satellite event (hosted 4 external speakers)
- PEGS in Barcelona – 20m² booth, 45min talk (internal speaker), social evening event for customers
- Conferences in AMER e.g.
- SBB in Oakland, CA – Twist had 3 presentation slots in the programme, customer meeting room, dinner with Twist‘s CSO and customers
Examples of organized „house-made“ Events:
- Digital Application Tour – created entire platform and branding for several half-day online events about various application topics, each with ~ 10 internal & external speakers. Average live audience per event was ~ 250 with an overall ~ 2000 net new names . The project worked so well, that it got expanded for the global events team (AMER & APAC)
- Digital & Onsite Customer Meetings e.g. Lunch & Learns, Mini Exhibitions at customer sites
- Webinars – from 50 to 200 attendees incl. speaker management, invitation management, setting up the platform and producing the webinar
- Twist Internal Meetings – 3-day EMEA commercial meeting for 100 - 200 people and social evening events
