UX Designer & Junior Frontend Developer

a passionate and extrovert UX Designer & Computer Scientist. My master's degree is in Media Informatics, a combination of computer science and human-computer interaction. Right now, I work at the airline Condor Flugdienst GmbH as a UX Designer creating their new E-Commerce website within a SCRUM software developments team. My further project experience I gathered at Lufthansa Industry Solutions as part of an enterprise software project for Audi AG in the automotive industry. I worked 2 years as full-stack software developer and a UX/UI designer developing supply chain management tools. While finishing my master's degree, I was part-time employed at the University of Lübeck for a research project where I designed & implemented a rehabilitation android app for patients with Parkinson's in the E-Health sector.

I have a deep understanding of working in an agile environment and under a lot of customer & cost-efficiency pressure. Over the years, I developed a strong ability to empathize with users' needs and to match them with the underlying (business) processes. I gathered experience working hands-on with style guides, design systems and WCAG standards.

To find different variants & innovative solutions to meet the user's requirements or just be pragmatic & focused - I like to work both ways.

My approach is to work as close as possible with all Product Owners, Software Developers, and users while keeping feasible & KPI-aligned results in mind.

Optimising software, work streams and business processes by abstracting features, requirements and flows is my strongest passion. Information architectures, software architectures and data architectures go hand in hand for me.

Currently, I am working on a private blog to collect all my HCI knowledge from my studies and to share my experience with implementing user-centred design into a scrum process.

I am practicing soft skills & management by organising Beach-Clean-Ups in my local community. I am aswell a passionate surf-teacher. How to teach, guide & motivate others is a skill that improves my way of engaging in team work and collaboration.
