* Established a local Engineering and Innovation Organization with a
special focus on German customers. Steady widening activities also to
other European customers.
* Heavily accompanied the very fast growth of Minth Group in Europe in
the fields of EV Battery Housings, Cell Modules & Cell covers, Structural
Body Parts, Illuminated Vehicle Grilles, and Trim Parts.
* Reinforced the cooperation and communication with the HQ R&D Center
in China to meet the fast-increasing volume of acquisition and
development work.
* Reorganized and improved KPI and Design Quality systems, Training
Plans, Documentation, and information systems for more efficiency at
any kind of internal or external processes.
* Implemented a rigorous review system for all design and production
related processes to identify in early stage any type of error or omission
and to initiate appropriate counter measures.
* Based on above mention review system also pushed standardized
platforms and components to generate volume benefits and significant
cost savings.




* Initiated in our European factories improvements of production processes
and equipment or tools, which created cost reductions in height of
several million Euros.
* Changed at many customers the business relation from a typical build-to
print status to a real tier 1, who was often also chosen as a predevelopment
partner.

* Built out the Development Team in capacity and know-how to meet the
ever-increasing volume of orders, which tripled since 2013. Fostered the
ability to innovate from within, at all levels of the team.
* Introduced a System Engineering Team and created standardized
platforms and components to generate volume benefits and cost savings.
* Initiated and implemented the extensive application of Design Quality
solutions such as Lessons Learned, Best Practice, Design Checklists,
CAD Templates, GD&T, DFA/DFM, DFMEA/PFMEA and rigorous review
system for tracking Gateways.
* Reduced design-related engineering changes by more than 95%, and
introduced corresponding KPI systems to monitor the progress of
improvements.
* Established and developed a local Advanced Engineering Team to better
react to Chinese market opportunities.
* Expansion of prototype construction with a special focus on near-series
sunroofs to shorten the development time significantly.
* Reduced staff turnover through individual personal & career mentoring.
* Effected a smooth transition of the existing business into the new global
organizational structure of the company.
