I am a backend and distributed systems engineer specializing in Rust, high-performance services, and platforms that need to remain correct, observable, and reliable as they scale.
I design and implement performance-critical systems, including low-latency financial microservices and greenfield trading-engine components connecting TradFi and cryptocurrency markets. My work focuses on predictable latency, transactional correctness, concurrency, throughput, and operational resilience. I am comfortable working close to the metal while making pragmatic architectural tradeoffs that help teams ship.
I have experience with distributed architectures built around Rust, Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL, MQTT, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, event-driven messaging, and horizontally scalable microservices. At BACE, where I worked as a Founding Engineer, I architected core platform, reservation, and IoT systems that handled 1,500+ requests per second with sub-200 ms p99 latency. I also built secure device runtimes, mTLS-based device provisioning, replicated databases, disaster recovery, observability, and self-hosted cloud infrastructure.
My value goes beyond implementing isolated services. I can take ownership of a backend or product: translating an ambiguous business idea into architecture, choosing the stack, establishing development standards, building the first production version, operating it, integrating partners, and helping grow the engineering team. I understand startup constraints and balance speed, reliability, cost, and maintainability accordingly.
I also build agentic AI applications and automation workflows. I have developed AI-driven products, connected engineering systems through MCP, established repository-wide AI context and rules, and built pipelines that automate feature prototyping, support workflows, software delivery, and code review.
