INDIRECT GROUP PROCUREMENT MANAGER (new role) for SELECTA GROUP in Kirchberg (CH - BE), Headquarter – European leader in unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food, at the workplace and on-the-go (retails sector), 10’000 resources, owned by a private equity since 2016 (KKR).
Responsible for an overall spend of € 150 m in 15 countries:
o Leading group procurement HW synergies with acquisitions of Pelican Rouge + Argenta.
o Initiate and drive sourcing strategy implementation in the Group from RFx for CapEx to roll out with contract (Tender to refresh new Machine Portfolio based on Off the Shelf equipment or complex projects like Telemetry, Cashless, from first estimation to after sales), supporting Development, Operations, IT and implementation of Iasta.
o Support all Indirect Group Procurement activities of following categories; R&D / Engineering, MRO, HR, EH&S, Professional Services, Travel Agency, Supply chain, Fleet, Marketing.
o Management of group strategic suppliers (quarterly review including supplier score card sharing, business plan, continuous improvement plan, outsourcing of refurbishment activities).
o Responsible for strategy, saving achievement tracking and pipeline.
o Communication: organize and host monthly calls for procurement community on Indirect topics and direct communication to Top Management.
Major achievements: systematically overachieved defined year on year targets (with a pic of 15% on hard savings only), successful group categories strategy settings and implementation together with leadership and procurement teams.

o Supply Chain, IT, Professional Services (Consultants), Human Resources (Recruitment) with Temporary Labor (overall CHF 80 m). o R&D: Pre-Clinical, Clinical Services, CRO, Regulatory, Scientific Services (CHF 20m).
* Between 12/2011 and 02/2013, REGIONAL STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER for: o Marketing: Creative Agencies, Digital, Market Research (Primary, Secondary, …), Public Relation, Text & Design ... in collaboration with all concerned local markets (CHF 50 m). o R&D: Pre-Clinical, Clinical Services, CRO, Regulatory, Scientific Services (CHF 20m).
* Between 04/2008 and 11/2011, new role of INDIRECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER for: o Division Procurement representative for CapEx (for 4 sites, 2 of which are major plants), for Nyon site participation in investment plans and management of all investments (CHF 25 m). o Indirect procurement (OpEx): maintenance, energy, facility management and Engineering services for the production plant according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) linked to CHF 10 m. o 2 direct reports: one buyer + one storekeeper. o Responsible for a warehouse and its optimization according LEAN Manufacturing (CHF 3 m) and implementation of Coswin update. o Main areas: CapEx with including a project of CHF 10 m to refurbish 100% inside a R&D building (Swiss SIA norms) / Engineering / Professional Services / Infrastructure / Energies / Facility management / MRO / EH&S / Continuous Improvement / support of Ariba implementation.
* Between 02/2013 and 01/2015, REGIONAL STRATEGIC SOURCING MANAGER for:
