Editorial design project on Octopuses

Project Overview:
As part of my Diploma in Graphic Design, I developed an editorial design project focused on the fascinating world of octopuses. The goal was to create an engaging and informative layout for a magazine spread or a small booklet that delves into the characteristics, behavior, and ecological significance of octopuses. The project required me to balance both creative design elements and scientific content in a way that would captivate and educate the reader.

Design Process and Approach:
To bring the octopus theme to life, I used bold and organic design elements that reflected the fluid and intricate nature of the octopus. The color palette was inspired by the vibrant colors and textures found in marine environments, with a focus on deep blues, purples, and contrasting highlights. I incorporated dynamic typography to evoke movement, using curving text and playful layouts that mirrored the creature’s ability to adapt and change. The final design emphasized readability and visual interest, ensuring that the educational content was accessible while keeping the design aesthetic exciting and cohesive.

Infosys webpage redesign project

Project Overview:
As part of my Diploma in Graphic Design, I worked on redesigning the official webpage of Infosys, a global leader in technology services and consulting. The goal of this project was to modernize the user experience (UX) and improve the website's visual appeal, ensuring that it reflected Infosys' innovative and forward-thinking brand identity. I focused on creating a more intuitive layout with an emphasis on seamless navigation, accessibility, and a responsive design that could cater to both desktop and mobile users.

Design Process and Approach:
In the redesign process, I started by conducting an analysis of the existing website to identify pain points and areas for improvement. I then created wireframes and prototypes that introduced a cleaner, more modern aesthetic, using a contemporary color palette that aligned with the brand's existing guidelines. I also integrated interactive elements and enhanced visual storytelling with high-quality images and videos. The website was structured to provide easy access to critical information, including services, case studies, and contact details, while maintaining a professional yet engaging tone. The final result was a polished and user-friendly design that aligned with Infosys' brand values and improved overall user experience.

This description highlights both the design and strategic thinking involved in the project, demonstrating your ability to enhance a major company's online presence through thoughtful design changes.

Brand Book/One Pulse Project

I completed this project as part of my Diploma in Graphic Design course at CREO Valley, Bangalore, in 2022. With the help of the InDesign tool, redesign the “One Pulse” brand. In the realm of graphic design projects, my expertise spans a diverse array of elements, with a particular focus on Logo Modifications, where I thrive in refining and revitalizing brand identities to align with contemporary trends.

My keen eye for Logo Specifics ensures that each design encapsulates the essence of the brand while adhering to industry standards. Proficient in determining optimal Logo Sizes for widespread visibility, I steer clear of common Logo do's to uphold a brand's integrity. Beyond logos, I excel in crafting a harmonious color palette and typography that consistently communicates a brand's identity. My project repertoire extends to Corporate Stationery, encompassing impactful Business Cards, Letterheads, and Envelopes that make a lasting impression.

Furthermore, my creative touch extends to store essentials and packaging, guaranteeing a visually cohesive brand experience. From compelling posters to intuitive user interfaces, mobile apps, and website designs, I consistently deliver projects that captivate and resonate with target audiences.

Fast Food Poster's Project

    • As part of my Graphic Design Diploma course at Lissa School of Design, I worked on a creative project focused on designing fast food posters. The objective was to create visually striking promotional materials that effectively captured the essence of fast food branding—bold colours, appetising visuals, and clear messaging. This project allowed me to experiment with layout design, typography, and image manipulation to deliver eye-catching results.

Using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I designed multiple posters highlighting popular fast food items such as burgers, pizzas, fries, and combo meals. I paid special attention to colour contrast, hierarchy, and readability to ensure the designs could attract customers quickly in a competitive environment. The posters were tailored for both print and digital platforms, showcasing versatility in size and formatting.

This project helped strengthen my understanding of consumer psychology, marketing design, and how to visually communicate brand identity in a short span of attention. It also enhanced my ability to work with real-world constraints like limited space, high visual impact, and brand alignment. As part of my Graphic Design Diploma course at Lissa School of Design, I worked on a creative project focused on designing fast food posters.
