In my role as Country Medical Director, I built and led a high-performing and highly compliant Med. Aff. organization (n=20) across all therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Vaccines, Immunology, Acute Care, HIV, Anti-Infectives and Primary Care. I drove the successful implementation of a global Med. Aff. transformation at country level, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.

I strengthened customer focus and cross-functional collaboration by leading the Country Medical Governance Council and fostering close cooperation between Medical, Regulatory, Safety and other key stakeholders. By synchronizing Medical Information processes regionally, I increased the frequency of customer interactions by 40%.

To enhance efficiency and strategic alignment, I introduced new workshop concepts, enabling all team members to actively contribute to company goals. I also implemented the “Simp your SOP” initiative, reducing SOP training time by 50% and simplifying core processes.

As a member of the Leadership Team, I contributed to the company’s strategic roadmap and supported the development of digital and innovative platforms through strong medical and scientific input. In addition, I represented the organization externally and managed the medical aspects of reimbursement submissions and tenders across the full portfolio.

These initiatives resulted in sustainable change, streamlined processes and a stronger, customer-focused Medical Affairs organization.

I fostered cross-functional collaboration with clinical research and medical affairs teams, improving internal processes and professional development. Key achievements include initiating a national tumor registry satellite project, establishing interdisciplinary collaboration with oncologists and nutrition KOLs, streamlining review processes from 16–24 weeks to 4–6 weeks, and creating a regional consultation system that enhanced coordination and customer engagement.
