Independent Power BI consultant with hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience, working with enterprise clients across the Nordics and wider Europe. My core focus is turning business requirements and source data into reliable semantic models, reporting solutions and decision-ready Power BI reports.
Recent project work includes Power BI and Microsoft Fabric development for enterprise clients across maritime, energy, industrial and technology services. This has included dimensional modelling, semantic model design, DAX and Power Query, report and dashboard development, and improvement of existing Power BI solutions. Engagements have also covered requirements gathering with business stakeholders, defining and documenting business metrics where terminology differed across teams, taking reports through user acceptance testing to sign-off, semantic model and data dictionary documentation.
I also work hands-on with Microsoft Fabric. My experience includes Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks, medallion architecture, workspace design, deployment and governance. I have worked with bronze, silver and gold data layers and supported the migration of reporting workloads into Fabric and done review of Microsoft Fabric tenant settings and deployment practice.
I designed and delivered a Microsoft Fabric training and adoption programme for a global energy company, reaching approximately 300 people and covering both technical concepts and practical platform usage.

Designed and built a retention analytics semantic model in Power BI, extending an existing enterprise sales model with snapshot and event fact tables and developing the full DAX measure set for customer pools, contract expiration, assignment and renewal conversion.
Ran requirements sessions with business stakeholders, translated operational terminology into documented metric definitions, and produced a business data dictionary and measure catalogue for review by non-technical users and verification against the source system.
Delivered the report through user acceptance testing to sign-off.
Also gathered requirements for a second reporting workstream, extended the enterprise data model documentation, reviewed Microsoft Fabric tenant settings, and advised on workspace deployment strategy and fact table design.
Power BI and Dynamics 365 development for a carbon capture technology company, on a part-time allocation. Built and maintained Power BI reports and semantic models, and delivered Dynamics 365 Sales development.
