We have a great opportunity for an experienced Security Cleared (SC) IT Project Manager on behalf of our global client, based in Yorkshire. This is a new programme of work where our client is looking to build a new team with additional resources. The successful PM will be managing the security team.
- Working hours: 7.5 hours per day, Mon-Fri
- Client stakeholder skill is essential
- The role is based at the client site (Yorkshire), at least 4 days per week
As a successful IT Project Manager your day-to-day duties may include:
- Leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects.
- Manages corporate, customer and third-party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems.
- Responsible for business as well as team management.
- Master: Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, or techniques.
- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
- Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful.
- Provides highly innovated solutions.
- Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives.
- Develops strategy and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects the affect the organizations longterm goals and objectives.
- May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. First Level University degree.
- Experience in project management roles or in like roles/businesses.
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key Services operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
- Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniques.
Essential skills and experience:
- Senior IT Project Managing skills (7-10 years)
- EXPERIENCE OF MS SENTINEL
- Experience working with project management methodologies such as Catalyst including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices
- Experience working with delivery assurance principles and appropriate procedures relevant to area
- Experience working with techniques and approaches related to the architecture, development, integration, and deployment of project phases

Due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate will have a valid UK security clearance prior to the start.
