Database System Support Consultant/Database System Support Analyst - Infoflex, EPR, Chemocare, IClip
Our prestigious NHS client based in London is seeking a dynamic, hands-on and technically astute Database System Support Consultant/Database System Support Analystto help support the continuous programme of training and updating for clinical staff and administrative staff dealing with clinical work in the use of InfoFlex.
As Database System Support Consultant/Database System Support Analyst you will help identify reliable benchmark information for local services and use software such as Infoflex, Chemocare, EPR and IClip. You will be responsible for the day to day support and supporting the training of clinical and non-clinical staff using InfoFlex .
Other duties will include:
- Ensure that InfoFlex, the hospital's cancer database system for clinical records, is developed and maintained to enable the Trust to efficiently record and report on the cancer pathways and experience it provides for its patients.
- Be involved in the development of InfoFlex, as well as ensuring uniformity of usage and accuracy, along with the completeness of data entry into the system.
- Responsible for the day to day support and supporting the training of clinical and non-clinical staff using InfoFlex.
- There will also be a component of audit and monitoring of the data system to ensure the uniformity, accuracy and completeness of data entry and to identify any problems.
- Act as an initial point of contact for InfoFlex users who are experiencing difficulties that are inhibiting them from performing their daily tasks
- Develop and maintain InfoFlex to provide an effective and efficient clinical recording and reporting system.
- To support the continuous programme of training and updating for clinical staff and administrative staff dealing with clinical work in the use of InfoFlex.
- Support continuous improvement, audit and monitoring of clinical data on InfoFlex and to identify usage problems and training needs.
- Liaise with Trust information users to understand their requirements, and to evaluate and advise them on an appropriate analysis.
- Identify reliable benchmark information for local services and use software such as Infoflex, Chemocare, EPR and IClip.
As Database System Support Consultant/Database System Support Analyst, you will be expected to ensure the quality of data related to cancer performance is accurate, developing and implementing data quality audit tools.
This is an initial 6 month contract (remote 50%/office based 50%) and is paying a rate of up to £400/day Outside IR35.
