Our client is urgently searching for a strong Developer with Data, Analytics, Cloud, GCP, Azure, Spark, Parquet, Python, Data model, Agile, DevOp experience to work on a critical project.
A successful candidate will have strong skills :
Experienced software developer (3+ years) with strong mindset of building scalable and high-quality software products in the cloud
Experience of development and testing in the field of Data & Analytics
Experience also in solution-design is a bonus
Experience in Azure and/or GCP cloud tech-stack
Experience in Big Data technologies (eg Spark)
Experience in Big Data file formats (eg Parquet)
Experience in object-oriented programming languages (Python)
Solid understanding of Data Modeling.
Experience in modelling and developing tabular cubes.
Experience also in composite models is a plus.
Hands on experience in DevOps and automate software development process is a bonus
Experienced in agile methodologies
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Strong communicator and team-player
English
Bonus skills
Experience also in solution-design is a bonus
The role
As a Software Engineer, your mission is to develop scalable and production-ready Advanced data delivery and Analytics capabilities using modern edge technologies in GCP/Azure

In order to succeed, we believe that you have previous experience in building, testing and maintaining cloud-based analytics-solutions. You feel accountable for the work done and you dare to speak up when necessary. You seek input and feedback to improve further.
Your responsibility will be engineering focused; design and development of data delivery and building the data mart/data API's, how to automate e g deployment, how to manage the infrastructure, how to deliver analytics-data to the business, how to manage the data quality, etc.
Work in close collaboration in an agile team to design, develop and iterate our next generation data- and analytics-solution with focus on enabling smart analyst self-service capabilities
Participate in the analysis and understanding of business needs, translating it to technical solutions, assuring that both business- and technical-needs are met
Develop different reusable technical enablement to speed up Advanced analytics product development
Leverage the understanding of software architecture and software design-patterns to write scalable, maintainable, well-designed and future-proof cloud-based capabilities
This assignment will start ASAP (mentioned date is indicative) and has long-term potential with very likely extensions.
Our client is based in Sweden with UK offices. This assignment can be performed remotely once onboarding has been completed. Good opportunities for an extension of the assignment.
