Software Engineer - Nethelands, Remote - 6 months
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Software Engineer for a big retail company.
Our client is looking for a Software Engineer who is immediately available to join. You will be playing a big role in leading the project.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Assessing a well-defined problem and leading the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.
- Conducting ongoing analysis of organisational needs and objectives and monitoring operating efficiency, implementing and/or proposing any necessary changes to ensure effective performance of an installed system/subsystem.
Software Engineer requirements:
- 8+ years of Server Side software development experience
- 5+ years of experience in programming in (but not restricted to) Java
- Experience of programming in NodeJS
- Experience in leading small sized teams
- Solid expertise in building scalable, distributed, loosely coupled systems
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS)
- Experience with database technologies (AWS DynamoDB, AWS RDS etc.)
- Experience with micro services architectures
- Experience developing RESTful services
- Experience with continuous integration, unit and integration testing
- Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, etc.)
- Knowledge of Scrum and agile principles
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills
