Job Title: Performance EngineerInside IR35

Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
. Driving improvements and adoption of test frameworks, following the principles of the open source movement
. Developing software to enhance the performance engineering capability of the tribe
. Contributing to the delivery and success of the Sky Global OTT solution
. Comfortable with taking full ownership of the non-functional test process, that includes ownership of the sign-off of release builds and in-depth issue investigation
. Performing non-functional testing within an agile software development environment with a view to aiding continuous delivery
. Building and designing real world test scenarios that are integrated into the continuous delivery pipeline
. Maintaining health of test environment and test injection infrastructure
. Simulating failures and chaos testing to prove highly available and heavily resilient systems (circuit breakers, kill Switches, active-active)
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Must have skills
. Strong Python coding skills (core developers)
. Performance Engineering experience
. Knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes
. Experience in GIT (version control)
. Strong communication skills.
Experience required:
4 to 8 years
