Hi,
I am currently working on a new contract opportunity with our key client based in Salford. The main purpose of the requirement is to work as part of the PMO taking specific responsibility for delivering projects across the organisation that may include managing change in any area of our activities.
IT Project Manager
Location: Salford
Rate: £350-£375 per day
IR35: Outside
Contract Length: 2 months
Days in office/Remote working: Will be expected in the office 1 to 2 times per week.
Start date: ASAP, need to be immediately available to ideally start w/c 15th November if not sooner!
Key Requirments
- Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience and scope to enable teams
- Bringing a pragmatic approach
- Problem solver, ability to handle the fast-paced frequently changing environment.
- Existing experience of working in a Project Management role in an IT capacity
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Fluent written and spoken English - Good Communicator
- Data-Driven and technically able
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for delivery of full project life cycle (planning, execution and closure) of various projects, under the guidance of Group Head of PMO.
- Coordinate resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring the feasibility
- Work closely with all stakeholders for example Operations, Finance, and IT in the preparations of projects
