I founded my company recently in the beginning of the upheaval in the world economies in 2020 as I perceived the need for SME’s to survive and thrive in a rapidly changing and uncertain environment. Reflecting on my own experiences over the last 25 years across different firms from start-ups to public companies, I know how to provide clients straight, practical and realistic advice, tools and solutions to tackle volatile environments and a new reality.

After completing my MBA at the University of Chicago, I started my financial career at E*TRADE Financial where as Senior Project Manager I helped launch the after-hours trading product under budget and ahead of schedule before being promoted to Investor Relations where I incorporated my Profitability Equation Template to create and prepare the content and messaging for the CEO’s quarterly earnings calls and Investor Roadshow presentations.  

After E*TRADE I moved to the UK and started my career in FX EM Institutional Sales where my success in launching a middle east business brought me to Dubai and the opportunity to launch an FX business for a start up in the midst of the economic crisis and in the teeth of tough competition from well entrenched and superior resourced competitors.  Within 18 months I built a multi-million dollar FX sales business that eventually recruited senior staff from the same competitors who swore my business would never get off the ground.  (As the old adage says, if you can’t beat them – join them).

After Business Development, I moved to an executive role, serving as a COO for a global SME where I transformed its operations and worked closely with the CEO to grow its business into profitability and expand to other markets.  In 2020 I branched out on my own and have been on a recent assignment helping prepare the launch of a new Property Management Company in Dubai for Q4 2020. I was instrumental in setting up its structure, operations, and creating the business plan for raising capital with investors. 

I believe true success is only realised through the success of my clients. Building Long term relationships and client success in those relationships are my Key Performance Indicators.

  • Set up a holding JAFZA Offshore parent entity and Dubai onshore property strata management subsidiary company for two principle owners.
  • Set up the financial, operations and compliance processes for the Company to launch the business on a strong foundation for a target launch of Q4 2020.                                                              .
  • Helped formulate and execute a launch strategy focused on top of line technology and superior customer service to differentiate in a market with legacy systems and poor service.
  • Researched and wrote the business plan to raise up to USD 1 million.
  • Created the investor packets and Shareholder Purchase Agreement for two classes of shares.

General Advisory - M&A
Elxi Corporation (Banken und Finanzdienstleistungen, 10-50 Mitarbeiter)

  • Helped identify a strong M&A Target for a Retail FX Trading company looking to expand its businesses into Institutional Interdealer Brokerage and to acquire in the process DFSA and FCA licenses.
  • Negotiated the USD 7.5 million acquisition deal between my Client Buyer and the Target, including key retention contracts for target sales staff to stay on board post-acquisition.
  • Conducted a full valuation and high-level due diligence of the target for the client incorporating DCF Analysis, Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transactions, and LBO Valuation.
  • Worked with Target and Buyer legal counsel to help draft the Share Purchase Agreement and the particulars of the business integration between the Buyer and Target post-closing.
