3. Replacement and decom of several small business applications

Liberty Global is conducting a network consolidation/standardization Europe wide. In relation to this project LGI upgrades or migrates all network components (SCB-Cards, Switches, Router, Chassis) of their subsidiaries (LGI, UPC, Cablecom)

My task is to coordinate all logistics tasks for all subsidiaries for all end of life parts or devices and bring them to the warehouse of LGI Partner BE Networks

Tasks:

• Process analysis of the supply chain and GAP analysis as well request management
• Definition of the project scope
• Definition of the Decommissioning and Installation process including logistics
• Vendor management and negotiations with DHL, Fedex, UPS
• Documentation and management reporting
• Software selection for automating the logistic process (site tracker)
• Pilot project SiteTracker on 3 different locations e.g. Paris, Frankfurt and Vienna.

My responsibilities:

• Analysis of the IST infrastructure of the DB-IS (IST-analysis) Eurex Trading, Eurex Clearing, Xetra, CCP, ZOS/SNA Connectivity & Report flow

• Analysis of all Eurex Clearing/Trading, Xetra and CCP circulars/publications
• Impact analysis (including the related systems (technical & functional) Interfaces like swift, CSD’s, FIX messaging))
• Creation of functional and non-functional requirements (FR & NFR)
• Design of a potential Eurex Clearing and Xetra Infrastructure based on the Eurex NTA blueprint
• Creation of the infrastructure designs in Visio
• Management decision presentations

- Planning, coordination and preparation of creating “new” Commerzbank LAN networks within all former Dresdner Bank branch offices
- Migration of all old Hardware in 700 Branches by new Cisco devices in cooperation with an external service provider
- Day to day reporting
- Single point of contact for potential incidents
- Troubleshooting and escalation management
- Decommissioning of investment Banking WAN connections
- Coordination with the investment bank departments

My responsibilities as deputy Team lead:

-Quotation/contracts and judging them from technical and functional point of view and managing the LAN-team

Provisioning of Commerzbank network within all former Dresdner Bank location and migrating Network wise all workstations, printers, ATM’s, alarms systems, videoconference etc.

My responsibility as a Project manager within “LAN Services” team:
- Single point of contact for all rollout teams for the migration of all former Dresdner Bank end-devices
- Design and setup of an automated LAN port order systems
- Coordination of the development work of the LAN port order system
- Creation of an standardized LAN port order sheet, deployment and instruction for all Germany wide employees
- Creation of all incident, problem, request and escalation management processes in arrangement with the rollout teams who were managed and staffed by external consulting companies
- Management reporting and management meetings as representative for LAN network services

Single Port Rollout – Migration of Dual LAN Port Strategy on 1 LAN Port Strategy by use of Port Replicator within the VOIP Phone (Siemens Openstage 40) – Germany wide 32.000 workplaces are migrated. Until Q4 2012
