• I developed and deployed a Web site which delivers a jurisprudence electronic library and an online community for the Romanian lawyers. • As part of the Data Warehouse team, my tasks include the installation, monitoring and tuning the development Oracle databases for the branches of the bank, as well as supporting the development teams. I work with Oracle 9i on Unix servers.

• My assignment was to lead a team of 4 people for the implementation of the Marketing and Statistics module at the Bulgarian Railways. This project used Oracle 8i for the Data Warehouse, Oracle Designer for the Data Modeling and Oracle Discoverer as the reporting tool.





 Oct 1997 – Oct 2000 MOBIFON S.A. (CONNEX GSM)
Position: Oracle Database Administrator

• Corporate reporting database
- I planned the physical structure of the database and installed the Oracle Server Enterprise Edition 8.x for HP – UX 10.20 (the hardware was a HP 9000 server, K class)
- I developed the necessary scripts in order to import the information from the billing system (Ingres database on Open VMS) into Oracle database.
- I supervised the reporting team. The reporting tool was Oracle Reports from the Oracle Developer package.
- I performed the necessary administrative and tuning tasks related to the Oracle database.

• XNet (Mobifon became Internet Service Provider)
- I performed the installations and configurations tasks for the Oracle Server Enterprise Edition 8.0.5 for NT (the software used for this project was Infranet from Portal Software)
- I configured the replication environment, the standby database and I performed the necessary administrative and tuning tasks.

• Corporate Data Warehouse
- My assignment was to design procedures of cleaning data, loading the data warehouse as well as mapping data for data marts.
- I perform administrative tasks against Oracle tools included in Oracle Data Mart Suite package (Oracle Server, Oracle Designer, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Application Server, etc.). The OLAP tool is Hyperion Essbase. The hardware is a Sun Enterprise 3500 server)

• In my leisure I worked with a lawyer at a database program that stored Romanian laws and jurisprudence. I used Oracle Developer 6 (Forms 6 and Reports 6) and Oracle Server 8i for Windows NT. I made both the analysis and the design of the application.

Position: System Analyst

• I performed the system analysis and the data modeling for the billing, accounting and contracts modules at the international airport Otopeni Bucharest. I used Oracle Designer 2000 and the database was Oracle Server Enterprise Edition 8 on a HP 9000 server.
• I performed the installation and the necessary configurations and tuning tasks related to the database.

 Aug 1996 - Jan 1997 IPACRI ROMANIA (branch of IPACRI ROMA)
Position: Oracle Database Administrator

• As part of a team that developed a database program processing banking information, I had to administrate the database. The server was a DIGITAL Alpha Server that used HP-UNIX operating system and the database was Oracle 7.1. I performed tuning against the Oracle Server and I wrote the database documentation.

Position: Analyst - programmer engineer

• I worked as part of a team developing a database program for salary payment and for the processing of information about the personnel of McDonald’s company. My assignment was to develop the reports using Developer 2000 (Reports 2.5). The server used the HP-UNIX operating system and the database was ORACLE 7.1.

 Jul 1993 - Oct 1995 Industrial Systems for Automatizations S.A.
Position: Analyst - programmer engineer

• I developed a supervising program for an electronic alarm system written in Turbo Pascal 7.0. This program took the signals from the alarm system using serial interface RS-232 and the information was displayed with the help of a graphic interface.

• I also developed a database program written in Fox Pro for Windows which stored information about the quality of animal products. I made both the analysis and the design of the screens and the reports.

• I was part of a team that developed a resource editor using object collections written in Turbo Vision (Borland Pascal) 2.0.
